So I’m after all my exams and I started working on my SoC project. I’ve added all files from Francois Perche MacLibre to WinLibre’s SVN. My work till now was concentrated on applications updates so no real coding done yet. The defaultUrl (MacLibre.py) to MacLibre’s xml file with packages description wasn’t working. First I’ve changed it to new CVS address:

http://winlibre.cvs.sourceforge.net/*checkout*/winlibre/maclibre/xml/en.xml

and it started to work fine, but I’m using SVN so I replaced it with

https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/winlibre/MacLibre2/xml/en.xml

That’s the place where you can find all latest updates.

List of applications updates

ClamXav 1.0.1 1.0.3h added 0.8.7c for Mac OS X 10.2

What’s left to update:

- add Audacity 1.3.0 beta version

- add Colloquy 2.1 beta version

- add Virute Desktops (page under construction)

Problems to solve:

- AbiWord update (write GzContainer because new AbiWord version are archived with gzip)

- Firefox 1.5 and Thunderbird 1.5 dmg images with licence window showing up when mounting (fix mounting to handle this kind of dmg images)

- check if X11 package is already installed in system even if it wasn’t installed with MacLibre (dependence, X11.app, useful when installing Gimp or Inkscape)

New ideas:

- version selection for one application (ex. Firefox 1.0.8 & 1.5.0.4)

- add Vienna (RSS Feed Aggregator) to MacLibre (Internet section)

That’s all for now;-) Time for some party I’ve got birthday today ;-)
