I'm very interested in this project, (it seems much nicer to use than similar package managers for Mac) but it seems the documentation is non-existent. I've managed to solve the bad URL issue in the config.xml, but now it asks for a password, and I've never been told I need to create an account. (why should I have to? Is MacLibre collecting personal information for some reason? Why not simply send it anonymously if need be?

On top of this, I'd really like to have the option of downloading newer versions of apps, be they stable or not. Firefox 1.5? 2 has been out for eons, and 3 is just around the corner!

Thanks for working on a cool project, I have high hopes for this.
